3 Highly Recommended 24-Hour Restos in BGC

One of the best things about living in Bonifacio Global City is that there’s so much going on, even in the wee hours of the morning. And when you do get that hankering for something to munch on at 2 or 3 in the morning, you know that there are a number of food spots in BGC that have just the thing for your grumbling belly.

Coconuts Manila just came up with a list of 7 recommended 24-hour food joints in Metro Manila, and we’re happy that three of those establishments are right here in Bonifacio Global City.

The Bowery

Taking a page from the city that never sleeps is The Bowery, a New York-themed cafe which serves up “NYC comfort food” all hours of the day.

The menu, however, is filled with broad strokes of Western cuisine like burgers, sandwiches and salads, missing out on some of the more authentic Big Apple eats of pizza and pastrami sandwiches.

Either way, they’ve got a strong brunch and breakfast menu as well as a late night menu which includes the lavish Lobster Shrimp Truffle Mac and Cheese (PHP1,200) and the Bowery Burger (PHP890) made with a juicy wagyu blend patty, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onions, and a brioche bun.

The Fort’s Early Bird Breakfast Club is devoted to one meal: breakfast. Plated here are fancied versions of traditional breakfast dishes.

If you’re craving for something local, try the beautifully plated Lemon Butter Bangus (PHP 325) which comes with pan-seared bangus served with a poached egg, garlic rice, and a garlic lemon butter relish.

Or if you’ve got a big appetite, go for The Early Bird Full English (PHP 495), a typical British breakfast of bangers, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried eggs, baked beans, hash browns, and toast.

If you’re coming by in the wee hours of the morning, knock back a few espresso based drinks by Craft Coffee to get you into working shape.
